Originally self taught, Carmelita has been honing her craft for over 10 years.Her first body of work consists of short form content she produced, shot, and edited for social media.

Her clients include Duke’s Malibu, ECCO VR, Oliveda and musical clients sucn as songwriter Celeste Scott, the Boss Academy duo Jimi-James and Wow Jones.

She attended Cal State LA’s TV/Film program, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Not only did she excel academically, she found a new inspiration in the arts as she was encouraged by a mentor to transition into filmmaking.

Carmelita stands at the intersectionality of her upbringing - a native Filipina who grew up in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, breaking barriers and stepping into one of the most exciting chapters in her creative life.
